Welcome to my website
Hi, firstly I’d like to thank you for visiting my site. Chances are that you have found yourself here because you’re looking for a way to achieve success and the financial freedom to enjoy your life. I am going to share with you the tools and knowledge you will need to generate a substantial income from the comfort of your own home. Don’t get me wrong, this business is not for everyone and involves a lot of hard work at the outset. However if you are motivated, persistent, patient, enjoy talking to and helping people and can embrace change then this business will generate an income mostly on auto-pilot and allow you to have the life you only ever dreamed of.
Before we get to that I’d like to tell you a bit more about myself and how I came to be involved in this fantastic career.
By the way - do you like my header. That is a photograph taken from my front garden, overlooking the island of Arran on the West Coast of Scotland
About Me
I come from the West Coast of Scotland and am the fifth girl of a family of six (my brother came along 2 years after me). According to my mum when I was born my dad’s first words were ‘Oh she has your nose and my mouth, she would’ve been prettier if it had been the other way around’. Luckily I have a sense of humour otherwise that remark may have scarred me for life. Growing up in a house full of mainly girls was fun, you had to shout to be heard. My sisters and I used to go out together on a Saturday night and we’d fight over who was going to wear what – whilst my brother used to complain to my mum ‘ Tell them to get some clothes on my friends will be around soon.’
Our family were brought up to have a strong work ethic. I am also extremely tenacious which helps in this business. I spent my late teens and most of my twenties living in London and travelling around Europe, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. I did all sorts of jobs, mainly secretarial and accountancy in London, childminding in Canada and anything I could find while travelling. In many cases if I couldn’t find a job I made one up, eg I used to make sandwiches and sell them round bars when I lived in Spain and Greece. In Hong Kong and Thailand I did bar work and used to teach conversational English to students. This was funny as my students probably learned more Scots slang than English, which probably didn’t do them much good unless of course they were visiting Glasgow or Edinburgh.
By the time I was 28 years old I was ready to come back to Scotland and settle down. I started working for a housing association in the East End of Glasgow and went back to university to study for my ACCA qualification (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants). I got married in Las vegas when I discovered I was pregnant with my son who is now 15. my daughter was born two years later Over the next decade I progressed up the career ladder to Finance & Corporate Services Manager within the housing sector.
My marriage ended in 2001 after 10 years. Soon after I decided to buy a holiday home in Spain to give me and the kids something positive to look forward to and focus on. A year later in 2002 I met my partner, Steve - who qualified as a commercial air diver in 2007. Tragically, Steve passed away while on a diving job in Autumn of last year. I had already joined YourNetBiz at this point, however his untimely death made me take some time out to re-evaluate my life. Even before this tragedy I had become increasingly disillusioned with my life. As a mother of 2 kids aged 13 and 15 I felt that my life did not belong to me. Basically I was like a hamster on a wheel, working to pay the mortgage, looking after the kids – no time or money to do anything, a holiday home that we couldn't afford the air fares to visit, no hobbies and not much fun – in fact the complete contrast to how I’d lived my life in my twenties.
I started to explore other business opportunities and spent loads of time on the internet – looking at franchise opportunities and online marketing. I actually purchased a franchise jointly with a friend for a ladies only fitness club and wasted around 18 months trying to get the business set up – before conceding defeat when the landlord of the premises we had rented reneged on his promise to carry out extensive remedial work. (by the way I must add that I did eventually open a home gym which I rent out to friends and family and make a nice little income from).
Hobbies & Interests
I have always been interested in holistic therapies and remedies. I believe that our mind, body and spiritual wellbeing are all intrinsically linked and of equal importance. This was one of the reasons I started running a home gym. I am also interested in Reiki, aromatherapy and Aura Soma colour healing. I am a very spiritual person and believe that meditation, affirmations and prayer are one of the key ways to connect with your higher self. For me life is one long journey of personal and spiritual growth. What you'put out' you will most certainly get back as the Law of Attraction states. That's why it's essential that we try to think only positive thoughts.
Whilst doing my research for YourNetBiz I have come across several fantastic books on self development and awareness - so as well as creating a lifestyle which allows me the financial freedom to spend time with my family and do the things that interest me, these past few months have been an incredible learning curve on self development - not to mention the intracacies on internet marketing.
I am a great believer in fate and ‘what’s for you won’t go past you’. I also truly believe that ' what goes around comes around. I am the kind of person who truly loves to help people and I get a huge sense of satisfaction by helping others. I really do believe it’s better to give than to receive.
Anyway God must’ve thought it was my turn to taste the sweet smell of success when I came across this fantastic opportunity a few months ago. The key to success in this business is finding the right mentor. I have been very fortunate in having one of the best in the business (divine intervention – who knows). I had spent several months – not to mention quite a bit of money looking at various online marketing companies before I decided upon YourNetBiz and I even became a distributor for another well known organisation. However if the support is not there you are deemed to fail as it is imperative that you have the correct training, mindset and understanding that if you are not prepared to help others then you also will almost certainly fail.
It took me quite a long time to get my head around the whole concept of online marketing. As an accountant at first I thought ‘but what tangible products are you actually selling.’ Then of course it hit me. Throughout our lives we have no qualms about paying consultants and lawyers for their ‘professional’ opinions on a whole range of issues. Why should teaching people the skills and knowledge required to achieve success by changing their whole attitude and mindset, and by helping them achieve that work/life balance be treated any differently to how we look at other professions. These skills can be applied to any business venture – not just the one you are now looking into.
I continue to be amazed at the power, reach and effectiveness of the proper use of Attraction Marketing online. It’s amazing!
The Power of Leverage
I wanted to talk briefly about the concept of leverage, because leverage is what separates the poor and the middle class from the truly wealthy.
The poor poor will learn how to use enough leverage just to get by in life. The middle class will wait until they can look at their life and say ‘I think I’m comfortable’ and then stop adding leverage to their lives. But the wealthy will just keep going, adding more and more leverage throughout their lives to creat more and more wealth. Wealthy people understand that creating wealth involves leveraging their time and money.
In the context of your life what does leverage mean?
LESS of what? Less time, less effort, less energy, less worry, less investment.
MORE of what? More income, more results, more value, more free time.
And you know what? We have a tool at our very fingertips to achieve just that. Have you ever given thought to the fact the Internet is an Asset?
The beauty of the Internet is that it gives us an amazing tool to get that coveted leverage. We can put systems and automation in place to make more and more income as well as use that income to enjoy the finer things in life. Every single day multiple people achieve this leverage with the power of the Internet, I’m just grateful that I had enough sense to become one of them.
How To Leverage Yor Time
Well one of the most popular ways is to become a business owner – this is someone who leverages his time by having people work for him, and/or owns a direct sales and/or network marketing business where they earn a percentage from other people’s efforts (their down line).
The other way is to be an Investor – someone who uses money as leverage.
How to Leverage Your Money
You let other people’s money work for you.
Your bank makes money with your money… your mortgage company makes money with your money, your insurance company makes money with your money, etc.
Isn’t it time YOU started making money with leveraging?
As far as specific business is concerned, I don’t think there is one magic secret that will give you all the answers. I think that there are basics and fundamentals that will help you build a successful business. The proper mindset is the hidden key that many are looking for however.
What's The Secret
Very simply.. it’s Online Marketing. If you can become a master at this, then you will never have to worry about your finances again. What I mean is Effective Online Marketing – not just throwing a bunch of money into the web and generating business like that. I mean using as little cash as possible to generate the biggest return. Yes, there are still costs associated with marketing of any sort. Whether the cost is time or money, there is always a cost. What you want to be is conscious of the returns you’re receiving from your efforts.
The trap that many fall into…is that they run out of money before they figure out what works best. This is one of the biggest reasons that you should always go into a new venture with someone who is already doing what you want to do. They can provide the help and guidance that can make the difference between success and failure.
For those who join me in my business, I offer my knowledge and education in this extremely important area. See, if you can master the art of marketing then it doesn’t really matter what program you have. Programmes will come and go but the understanding of how to effectively market will last forever.
I am also available to be your mentor if you would like. I know that if it wasn’t for mentors in my life I would not be where I am today. Anyone can show you how to sign on the dotted line or buy this or buy that, but if you’re looking for a genuine mentor or coach who will be there for you and support you in your new business…please give me a call. I’d be honoured to help you in this incredible journey.
What I have done is set up my business to be as Passive as possible. Now my business isn’t 100% passive, but I have built it so that I only deal with individuals that have an interest in a product or opportunity that I’m involved in.
I don’t chase people or hound my friends and family or anyone else for that matter. I don’t have to “cold call” lists of leads for hours upon hours. By setting up these systems those that come to me already know a little about me and understand that I am a real person and am serious about their success and business. The beauty of all of this is that now I only speak to those who want to speak to me. How refreshing!
Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me and this business that I am personally passionate about. Please call me if you have any questions. I would be honoured to help you in this incredible journey. Look forward to hearing from you.
Sincere and best wishes for a Prosperous Future.
